Imperial stouts can be pretty potent brews as they are, but then age that stout in oak bourbon barrels and it takes it to a whole new level. At 9.5% abv, this limited release from another one of Wisconsin's fine craft breweries is a great drinker. The aroma of bourbon is apparent on the pour. The taste is of malty, toffee goodness with that little warm, bourbon burn as you swallow. Outstanding!
