Karma Ale

Karma Ale, Avery Brewing Company, Boulder, CO
(Belgian Ale)
Clear, orange, amber pour with no head. Sweet malty aromas, fruity, and lightly citrus. Taste is light citrus, sweet malts, and a mild bitterness. Almost a little sour. Very light, mellow, and refreshing. Dry finish.

Rayon Vert

Rayon Vert, Green Flash Brewing Company, San Diego, CA
(Belgian Ale, Rated 98)
Cloudy, golden pour with a huge, fluffy white head. Took a few minutes for that thing to dissipate. Aroma has that distinct Belgian yeast smell. Has a sour note to it and some spice. Generous hops. Little sour up front with a nice, spicy finish. A solid drinker.

3rd Wheel

3rd Wheel, Oso Brewing Company, Plover, WI

Nothing too special about this beer. It's a typical Belgian ale. Pours hazy and orange. Nice fruity aroma of apricots, citrus, and spice.  Moderate floral flavor, a bit of sweetness, and very smooth and drinkable. I may have said there wasn't anything special about this beer, but I'd certainly sit down with a six pack on a hot Summer day.

Fleur

Fleur, Goose Island Beer Co., Chicago, IL
(Belgian Ale, Rated 96)

Goose Island is another of my favorite breweries. They have many excellent beers and this is one of them. Fleur is a beglian style pale ale brewed with a couple of different teas. It has a flowery, fruity aroma that starts sweet and finished just a bit tart.
