Peach Jungle Boogie

Peach Jungle Boogie, Marz Community Brewing, Chicago, IL
(Wheat Ale)
Cloudy, orange pour with a nice, frothy, white head. Huge aromas of peaches and apricots. Taste is predominantly peach throughout with a lingering, earthy, grassiness. Medium mouthfeel with a mildly dry, bitter finish.  Delicious beer!

Summer Tide Wheat Ale

Summer Tide Wheat Ale, Big Bay Brewing Company, Shorewood, WI

This one is a little different than your normal wheat beer. It's lighter in body. Banana notes are apparent in the nose. Nice banana and lemon flavor with a little hop to it. Very refreshing summer beer.

Anchor Summer Beer

The average beer drinker who may be getting tired of the traditional, internationally-distributed, yellow, tasteless, fizzy stuff; and is looking for something different; but is not ready to make the leap to more complex beers, will probably like "summer beers." Summer beers are clean, refreshing, and carry a much better taste than the aforementioned fizzy stuff. So for average beer drinkers who want to try something new, look for Summer seasonals from local craft breweries.
